Government College of Engineering Jalgaon has two Boys’ hostels and two Girls’ hostels (1+ minority girl’s hostel) in the institute.

• The seats are equally distributed to students based on department and year. The admission process is done through an online web portal on the institute website (CAPS software).

• The intake of boys’ hostels is 360 (180 per hostel) and the intake of girls' hostel is 106 and 100 for minority girls’ hostels.

• Apart from the existing hostels girls’ hostel with a capacity of 100 is in on final stage of its completion and may be made available for admissions in the academic year 2024-25.

• The admissions in the hostels are given as per merit and as per the reservation norms stated by the Government of Maharashtra.

• The rooms are airy and illuminated with the surroundings landscaped with greenery.

• The following facilities are available in the hostel.

− Basic amenities like a cot, table, chair, cupboard, light, and fan are available in each room.

– Drinking Water Facility: R. O. Water Purifier, Water Cooler in each wing

– Wi-Fi Internet connectivity for 24 hours.

– Newspaper/Reading Room Facilities.

– Gym Facility: near the hostel for morning and evening.

– Student Mess Facility for each hostel

– The canteen is available near the hostel.

– Security guards are appointed at each hostel.

– Student’s common rooms have TV sets. The DTH supply is for 24 hours.

– The college gymkhana ground is near the hostel for cricket, hockey, volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, and jogging.

– The hostel campus maintenance like cleaning/sweeping and pest control is done daily. The electrical repairs and security services are round the clock.

– Availability of visiting doctors with a separate dispensary block within the hostel premises is available.

– All the facilities of the hostel like cleanliness, civil and electrical maintenance, newspaper, etc. are provided through the maintenance fees collected from the students.
