At present, services are made available in institute premises in the backyard of the main administrative building. Existing canteen is having large open space nearby with the capacity of 20-25 persons at a time. Snack and tea/ coffee are served throughout the day with subsidized rates which are revised time to time as per the demand. Meal and lunch box service is also available with pre-booking of one or two days. The newly constructed canteen hall is converted into 24 hr open reading hall for studying purpose on student demand and new separate small canteen costing 1crore is proposed in open space between reading hall and present canteen.

Its estimated cost is Rs.1 crore and with formal sanction by PWD and on funds allocation, the civil work will begin in this year and it will be made available in a span of two years. Canteen is run by students' cooperative society.
